Great tool for automated proofreading oftexts translated into English, German, French other European and some non-European languages.Objective:The objective is to help people avoid paying for expensive manual proofreading of mails, commercial, technical or scientific texts and other documents. How it works:It is well-known that search engines like Google and AltaVista allow search in billions of documents. AlterStyle divides a text into word groups and checks their frequencies using e.g. Google. A low frequency (number of hits) is a signal for the author to correct the sentence. It is essentially that a basic knowledge of the language is required.
AlterStyle is a free to try software. You can free download and try it for an evaluation period.
