Gala2 is a batch-processing application, designed to take some of the frustration out of working with large collections of images. The application can batch-resize images across an entire drive or network share (via the UI or the command line), batch-rename images as a series (which can be stored and added to), perform basic file-system functions (copy, move, delete, group rename), generate configurable HTML-based thumbnail pages, perform image slide shows, image-annotation, and apply effects to images in batches. Currently Gala2 supports JPEG, BMP, DIB, PBM, PGM, PCX, PNG, PPM, WPG, TGA, and TIFF (uncompressed) file types.
Gala2 is a free to try software. You can free download and try it for an evaluation period.
