Hermetic File Search - Index Module 2.25

Hermetic File Search is for indexing and searching HTML files, text files or files of a similar kind (such as XML files) in a hierarchy of files either on CD, a hard disk or some similar storage medium (not files on an online website). This software does not simply create a list of files or simply search for character strings in a file. It indexes every word in every file, and any file containing a particular set of words (or any of those words, or an exact phrase) can be found by searching for those words. Hermetic File Search consists of two modules: 1. An index module which is used to create an index of the searchable files. 2. A search module which is used to search those files. The index module is capable of indexing a hierarchy of over 1000 HTML files, totalling over 50 MB, and containing over 100,000 different words. Even with that number of different words the search module returns results in a few seconds. The results are displayed by the software and can also be displayed in a page in your default web browser, with links to the files containing the words searched for. Requirements: A video resolution of 800x600 or preferably better. What's New: Minor improvements.
