Kabuki is a centuries-old form of Japanese theater. It began in 1603 and continues today although has gone through many variations and changes in its history. Kabuki is known for its stylized drama and the elaborate costumes and makeup of the actors. This screensaver presents 56 images of Kabuki warriors drawn by Japanese master artists of the mid to late 1800s.
