You can loop and lock certain channels or mute them. Locking a channel allows you to keep a certain sound within a channel even if you pick another directory to randomly play files from. Many people use this program as an ambiance generator, I think bird lovers quite like this program. A some light rain, a few bird noises, some wind and sound effects and you can create a ever changing soundscape that will surprise you. Dr. Rom a radio host in L.A did a portion of his show on this program... he liked to create directories of different bird noises from around the world, then he might select his directory ?Bird Sounds from the Congo? , The Great Kazoo starts creating a randomly generated sound environment creating the illusion that you are there!
