This ActiveX DLL provides a simple but very efficient way to protect Your software against piracy. It works on the basis of random numbers: each and every copy of Your (same) program gets a different unlock key. That means following: Your users can distribute Your software as much as they like but each copy requires a new, different unlock key. One can pay for Your software but his friend cannot use that same program on his computer with the same unlock key,but he also has to pay for his copy. You control everything: location in registry where the data will be written, prefix for the unlock key of every program, number of days You will let Your users to use Your program for free, action on expiration etc. 'Cheating' does not work: if someone tries to set the system clock backwards, the DLL detects it, shows a 'bad boy message' and the program is immediately expired. Also, if someone even finds a location of program data written in registry (hard to believe, registry is big), it won't be of much help. He can't do anything to register the program 'manually' or to extend the evaluation period by hand. Try it!
