VisualResizer for VB6 (Visual Basic «) is an ActiveX control for control resizing, split panels, form min/max size, saving of form size, position and state.VisualResizer is designed to make it fast and easy to setup resizing and split panels.It tries to handle resizing of controls on a form in a way you can see and think of it.You can do a quick setup of resizing where all controls are stretched as if they where painted on the form.A better way to setup resizing is often to decide for each control how it should be resized.With VisualResizer that can be done visually on colored mirrors of the VB6 forms, where the colors shows how resizing is setup. The colors are choosen to give a quick an intuitive view over the resizing setup. Resizing works correctly with aligned controls (like toolbars) and MDI childs.Split panels can also be setup visually. You just tell VisualResizer which controls that should be the panes and it will know how to handle it.You can also do the setups from VB code if you like too.VisualResizer is written for Visual Basic 6 (which is now the previous version).Resizing capabilities are builtin to VB.Net (the new VB version, released in Feb 2002). However if you want to stay with VB6 (price, knowledge etc) for now then VisualResizer offers you affordable and easy to use setup of detailed resizing. VisualResizer for VB6 is free for trial use in the Visual Basic IDE. You need however to buy a license to compile and distribute your programs.
